Web Developer

We are seeking an experienced Web Developer to support the development, configuration, integration, and maintenance of digital platforms involving Optical CMS or Directus CMS. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in frontend and backend development, CMS configuration, API integration, defect resolution, and production support. The Web Developer will work closely with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, Technical Leads, QA teams, and other developers to deliver scalable, reliable, and high-quality web solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications and digital platform features using Optical CMS or Directus CMS.
• Perform feature development based on functional and technical requirements.
• Configure and customize CMS components, content models, collections, and workflows.
• Develop and maintain frontend and backend applications.
• Design, develop, and integrate APIs and third-party services.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure application quality.
• Investigate and resolve application defects and technical issues within agreed timelines.
• Provide production support, including incident investigation, issue resolution, and root cause analysis.
• Support application deployment, release activities, and post-deployment validation.
• Monitor application performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Maintain technical documentation and ensure development activities follow established coding and development standards.
• Work closely with QA teams during testing, defect resolution, and UAT activities.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and other delivery activities as required.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 3–6+ years of experience in Web Development, Software Development, or a related role.
• Mandatory: Experience working with either Optical CMS or Directus CMS platform.
• Strong hands-on experience in frontend and/or backend web development.
• Experience with CMS configuration and customization.
• Strong experience with API development and integration.
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving application defects.
• Experience providing production/application support.
• Good understanding of web application architecture, development lifecycle, and software engineering practices.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum development teams.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
