Roles and Responsibilities:

Planning and Instructional Design.
  • Training Needs Analysis: Determine target audience, learning needs, knowledge gaps, and specific learning objectives for the course.
  • Curriculum Outlining: Adapt the overall course structure to fit iLEARN content packaging. Design the module breakdown and sequencing of content if necessary.
  • Storyboarding: Create detailed storyboards or blueprints that map out the visual elements, on-screen text, audio, video, interactive activities, and assessments for each module.
  • Applying Learning Theories: Utilise instructional design principles and adult learning theories to ensure it meets pedagogical requirements, and for effective knowledge transfer and retention.
Content Development and Multimedia Production.
  • Content Authoring: Refine training content and convert documents into matter suitable for iLEARN format.
  •  Multimedia Integration: Design and create or manage the creation of multimedia elements to enhance the learning experience. This often involves:
  • i. Video: Scripting, editing and animating training videos.
  • ii. Graphics/Visuals: Creating or sourcing graphics, infographics and visual aids.
  • iii. Audio: Generating voiceovers and other audio components.
  • iv. Interactive Elements: Developing interactive activities, simulations, exercises and probes using iLEARN Curator tools.
  • iLEARN Proficiency: Use native iLEARN authoring software to assemble all content and interactive elements into the final course modules.
Technical Implementation and Deployment.
  • LMS integration: Deploy courses onto the iLEARN catalogue to allow access for Educators and Trainers to manage their classes or assignments.
  • Quality Assurance: Thoroughly test the e-courseware for functionality, user experience (UX), and content accuracy across various devices (desktop, tablet, mobile) and browsers.
Collaboration and Maintenance.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Confirm the final product meets all goals and deadlines by consistently updating SME and stakeholders.
  • Evaluation and Iteration: Implement post-course surveys to gather feedback on the effectiveness of the course.
  • Handover: Ensure a smooth transition of ownership of course and materials to the educators and trainers of the course.
  • Knowledge Management: Store backup copies of the courseware and organise all developed materials into a secure and safe location.
iLEARN Trainer.
  • To conduct Basic and Intermediate iLEARN training courses for the users in the RSAF.
  • Design lesson plans and lesson materials for the courses.
  • Coordinator training resources and venue for the courses.
  • Requesting and seeking approval for iLEARN related accounts for the RSAF Users.
Intranet Website.
  • To maintain and update the Intranet Website periodically using SharePoint.
  • To create e-administrative information using Canva software for the office events.
