The Digital Business Analyst (DBA) will partner with the client onsite team to support both business-as-usual responsibilities and new digital initiatives. The DBA will assist in coordinating digital solutions driven by the client and work with stakeholders to support the deployment of these solutions across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • The Digital Business Analyst will partner with business teams to elicit citizen and business needs through human-centric, visual methods such as service journeys, and develop appropriate business cases. The role involves working with the client and client project teams to develop user stories, functional and technical specifications, and acceptance criteria.
  • The DBA will evaluate and recommend suitable technologies in alignment with the client's technology directions, including cloud-based solutions, enterprise architecture, modernization of legacy systems, and adoption of the client's technology stack. The role also requires identifying and adopting appropriate development methodologies — whether Agile or Waterfall — across outsourced, co-sourced, or in-house development environments.
  • Further responsibilities include ensuring system and product readiness for smooth deployment and operations, analyzing the impact of requested changes, proposing improvements to address evolving business needs, and supporting the CIO in identifying new opportunities for the client's digital transformation.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Infocomm Technology, Computer or Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in IT business analysis, application solutioning design, and testing.
  • Participation in at least two full software or product development cycles, preferably using Agile methodology.
  • Strong analytical, conceptualisation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to pitch ideas and influence stakeholders.
  • A driven and motivated personality with an inquisitive mind.
  • Ability to learn and apply new concepts in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Skills:
  • Business Analysis certification such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP).
  • Past development or consulting experience.
  • Knowledge or experience in at least one of the following areas: Data Analytics, Agile Methodologies, Cloud, Internet and Mobile Technologies, Customer Relationship Management, Knowledge Management, or Service Design.
