Sitefinity Developer

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Consistently create and deliver well-designed, tested code using best practices for website development.
• Code custom Sitefinity/WordPress features in PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 and work on previously developed custom features and themes.
• Maintain and manage several Sitefinity/WordPress websites, serving as the technical liaison to a managed Sitefinity/WordPress host.
• Maintain and manage our global employee intranet in Azure and AWS.
• Write secure code and respond quickly to security issues that may arise.
• Comfortable working in staging and live environments.
• Translate communication or design requests into high-quality and high-performing features.
• Collaborate with designers to match visual intent and create intuitive user experiences.

Required Skills

• Skilled in WordPress, Sitecore, Sitefinity.
• Strong coding experience in web and application development using PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, required.
• Must be able to understand how CSS changes impact style across platforms and browsers.
• Previous experience customizing WordPress to support specific functionality.
• Create functionality written to conform to WordPress coding standards.
• Deep understanding of PHP back-end development.
• Exposure to technical SEO a plus.
• Good English communication skills
