Overview: As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical planning, deployment, integration, testing/validation, and configuration of our clients software and services. Your role will involve managing the architecture, maintenance, and integration of both in-house and third-party software packages to support a secure, resilient infrastructure. You will also play a key part in incident management, root cause analysis, and ensuring infrastructure optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Architecture & Integration: Lead the design, maintenance, and integration of infrastructure systems, including both in-house and third-party software.
- Monitoring & Optimization: Track production operational metrics, optimize system performance, and respond to critical alerts with corrective actions.
- Automation: Identify opportunities to automate operational processes using scripts and automation tools, enhancing efficiency.
- Cloud Management: Oversee Azure Cloud infrastructure, manage AKS, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and deployment.
- Incident Management: Handle incident response, conduct root cause analysis, and develop solutions to prevent future issues.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate and communicate within the team and with customers to ensure smooth operations.
- Reporting & Progress Tracking: Regularly report on project and task progress to both management and customers.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
- Cost & Infrastructure Optimization: Continuously improve infrastructure configurations for optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or 5+ years of experience in an enterprise production environment.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in programming with Node.js, PHP, Perl, Python, or other scripting languages.
- Strong experience with AKS, Docker, and CI/CD practices.
- In-depth knowledge of Azure Cloud infrastructure and its administration.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot, identify root causes, and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Operational Experience: Experience managing infrastructure and operations environments in multi-site businesses is a plus.
