Project Manager
About the job Project Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Work primarily on existing digital service systems and may support other technology projects as required.
- Ensure projects are executed to meet identified business needs and outcomes, within agreed parameters of cost, duration, and quality.
- Plan, coordinate, seek approval for, and execute change and service requests for system enhancements and fixes in a timely manner.
- Assess and apply appropriate project management methodologies to ensure project success.
- Identify potential project risks and their implications to the organization, and recommend appropriate mitigating measures.
- Track and report project performance.
- Actively engage and motivate key stakeholders and partners to deliver projects and drive positive change across digital service systems.
- Manage security assessments and activities, including vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, security reviews, risk assessments, risk registers, security exercises, and other related initiatives.
- Manage compliance-related activities and requirements.
- Handle incident management, recovery, and remediation activities.
- Track project budgets and monitor financial activities, including billing and invoice verification.
- Manage contracting and approval processes.
Qualifications:
- Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information/Infocomm Technology, Computer or Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience as a Project Manager, with experience across at least 2 full project development life cycles.
- Strong vendor management and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical, conceptualization, and problem-solving skills.
- Adaptable and enterprising, with a willingness to acquire new knowledge and take calculated risks.
- Motivated by innovation and achieving tangible business outcomes.
- Strong presentation skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to positively influence key stakeholders.
- Strong sense of commitment and ownership in delivering work to completion while maintaining quality standards.
Preferred Skills
- At least 2 years of experience working in a government or public-sector environment within a similar scope.
- Familiarity with government/public-sector compliance requirements.
- Experience in presentations and engaging with challenging stakeholders.
- Experience handling projects involving Cloud, Design Thinking, Data Analytics, or Agile/Product-Centric Development.
- Project Management-related certifications such as CITPM, COMIT, or PMP.
