Role Overview
We are looking for a Cloud Network Security Engineer to provide Level 2 operational support for enterprise network security services deployed in cloud environments. The role involves incident resolution, implementation support, operational troubleshooting, and maintaining secure and reliable network infrastructure services.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with network security technologies, cloud networking, and strong troubleshooting capabilities in a fast-paced operational environment.
Key Responsibilities

Provide Level 2 support for cloud-based network security services, including:
- Firewalls
- Web proxies
- Application delivery/load balancing
- DNS services
- VPN technologies
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents and problems related to network security infrastructure and services.
- Work closely with external vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure services meet agreed SLAs and operational standards.
- Implement infrastructure changes following established change management processes and documentation standards.
- Ensure all network security solutions comply with defined architecture and operational standards.

Support operational activities including:
- Incident ticket resolution
- Change implementations
- Customer query handling
- Service monitoring and escalation
- Maintain operational documentation and contribute to continuous service improvements.
Required Skills & Experience
Must-Have Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in:
- Telecommunications
- Networking
- Network Security

Solid understanding of networking and security concepts including:
- TCP/IP
- IPSec VPN
- HTTP/HTTPS
- DNS
- Firewall technologies

Experience with public cloud networking principles, specifically:
- Microsoft Azure and/or
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Cloud Proxy solutions

Strong hands-on experience with at least one of the following technologies:
- Fortinet Firewalls
- F5 BIG-IP
- IPSec VPN
- Web Proxy solutions
- Ability to work independently and effectively prioritize tasks under pressure.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in enterprise or managed service environments.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes, especially incident and change management.

- Fortinet NSE
- Azure Networking
- Google Cloud certifications
- F5 certifications
