Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.

  • Deploy and manage applications on Kubernetes/OpenShift/AKS/Cloud environments.

  • Integrate front-end and back-end services using RESTful and SOAP web services.

  • Implement authentication and security protocols for APIs, e.g., JWT.

  • Ensure observability of applications via monitoring tools like Splunk and Grafana.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business logic and deliver robust solutions.

Technical Skills:

  • Java 1.8 – 17 (>8 years): Strong in programming complex algorithms and source code management.

  • Spring Boot (>6 years): Expertise in organizing and configuring backend applications.

  • Databases: Oracle/PostgreSQL (>6 years), writing complex queries.

  • Kubernetes (>3 years): Deployment, management, and command-line usage.

  • Web Services: RESTful and SOAP APIs, with authentication/security protocols (JWT).

  • Version Control: Git and similar tools.

  • Observability: Splunk, Grafana, and other monitoring tools.

  • Front-End Skills: Angular (>6 years), HTML/CSS (>6 years), capable of implementing responsive UI and integrating with backend.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong understanding of business logic and workflows from diagrams or specifications.

  • Independent, able to work with minimal supervision.

  • Team-oriented with strong communication skills.

Proficiency:

  • Primary Technology: Java – Advanced

  • Secondary Technology: React/Angular – Advanced
