About the job Project Manager
What You Will Be Working On:
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables with government stakeholders
- Oversee service providers to ensure contractual responsibilities are met and manage vendor relationships
- Oversee day-to-day system operations to meet business objectives on uptime and availability
- Lead and drive ops-tech sessions to facilitate project planning and execution
- Coordinate and track multiple projects across teams, ensuring timely completion
- Lead and coordinate procurement activities including contract renewals and licenses
- Coordinate system security audits and vulnerability assessments
- Lead and facilitate collaboration between development and technology teams
- Develop and maintain project schedules, statuses, and reports
- Lead regular meetings to update senior leadership and stakeholders on progress and challenges
- Manage and monitor project plans to ensure successful completion within schedule, scope and budget
- Implement processes covering issue management, change control, documentation management and quality assurance
- Assist the CIO in identifying digital transformation opportunities
What We Are Looking For:
- Degree in a relevant IT field with 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in technology environment
- PMP or equivalent project management certification
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience in managing system implementation and maintenance projects using Agile methodology
- Experience in budget management, cost optimisation, and financial planning
- Team player with strong analytical, problem-solving, and influencing skills
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
- Experience facilitating collaboration between diverse teams
Preferred Skills
- Experience with government agencies and understanding of procurement processes
- Technical background with IT teams and developers
- Experience in Agile, Cloud Technologies, Knowledge Management, or Service Design
Good-to-have Skills
- Experience working with Agile tools such as Figma, Miro, or JIRA
- Experience facilitating workshops, focus groups, and sprint reviews
- Knowledge of data analytics and product metrics
- Certification such as Scrum Master or Product Owner is a plus
- Experience with development workflows using tools like SHIP/HATS, GitHub or GitLab for code management and collaboration
- Experience to rapid application development platforms such as OutSystems
- Working experience with content management systems such as Sitefinity, SharePoint Online, or similar platforms
