Notice to Maryland Residents Regarding Prohibition on Use of Lie Detector Tests:

Under Maryland Law, an employer may not require or demand, as a condition of employment, or continued employment, that an individual submit to a lie detector or similar test. An employer who violates this law is guilty of a misdemeanor and subject to a fine not exceeding $100.00.

Notice to California Residents Information in the Public Record:

California Civil Code Section 1786.53 provides that an employer who collects, assembles, evaluates, compiles, reports, transmits, transfers, or communicates information on a consumer's character, general reputation, personnel characteristics, or mode of living , for employment purposes, which are matters of public record, and does not use the services of an investigative consumer reporting agency, shall provide that information to the consumer. You may waive your right to receive a copy of any public record obtained pursuant to California Civil Code Section 1786.53.
