JOB SUMMARY:

The Reliability Specialist is a motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven team player who:

The employee in this position will be a positive-natured, task-oriented individual with technical expertise in CMMS platforms. They will work constructively with team members across the organization to execute job responsibilities, support site and business initiatives, and consistently improve safety, quality, and productivity. This individual must be able to work independently and collaboratively to achieve organizational goals. This position is a REMOTE role with some travel.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBITIES:

CMMS System Management:

  • Configure, maintain, and update the Maintain X CMMS to optimize workflows for preventive and predictive maintenance, asset tracking, and inventory control.
  • Ensure data integrity by validating work order completion, asset updates, and inventory entries.

User Training and Support:

  • Train maintenance staff and supervisors on effective CMMS usage, including reporting, work order management, and troubleshooting.
  • Provide technical support and resolve system-related issues.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Develop and maintain detailed reports for maintenance KPIs, such as work order completion rates, equipment downtime, and inventory usage.
  • Collaborate with management to identify trends and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Asset and Inventory Management:

  • Ensure accurate asset records, including new asset setup and decommissioning.
  • Monitor spare parts inventory levels and manage reorder points within the CMMS.

System Enhancements and Updates:

  • Work with software providers to implement system updates and new features.
  • Coordinate with IT for integrations and resolve technical challenges.

Compliance and Documentation:

  • Ensure all maintenance activities logged in the CMMS meet compliance and audit requirements.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of system processes and training materials.

Other Duties as Assigned:

  • Support other maintenance and reliability initiatives as needed to achieve business objectives.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Strong technical knowledge of CMMS systems; experience with Maintain X preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational, planning, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to use the TEAMS environment to effectively communicate and train fellow employees.

EDUCATION:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • AA degree in Business Administration, preferred

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 5-year prior experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with CMMS systems, maintenance operations, or asset management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Preferred:

  • Continuous Improvement activities such as LEAN; 5S; Six Sigma; etc.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The Ability to:

  • Routinely sit at a workstation for extended periods (80-90% of shift).
  • Occasionally traverse plant facilities and equipment areas.
  • Be flexible with work hours to meet operational demands
  • Travel 10-25% of position
    • May require more during initial training waves & changes with CMMS system
