USALCO has an opening for a Production Supervisor who will oversee and direct operations at the Bastrop, LA chemical manufacturing plant. The Production Supervisor will lead the facility to achieve key metrics such as Safety, Quality, Inventory, Delivery, and Cost. The Production Supervisor guides activities in cross-functional areas including production planning and control, total quality management, systems, manufacturing, equipment and facilities engineering, material management, transportation management, and process reengineering.

Essential DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES

The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to the following:

  • Daily inventory verification
  • Creating GRN for raw materials
  • Creating POs non-stock purchased items
  • Receiving raw materials in Ross (inventory software system)
  • Provide back-up support for the Shipping Coordinator and Production Manager
  • This job will have approximately 6 direct reports
  • Assist with moth end close out
  • Be a champion to drive change and HSE
  • Printing and organizing blender batch sheets daily
  • Maintain raw materials inventory
  • Maintain shipments for the plant by using the software system and working closely with the transportation team to determine shipping schedule

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Valid drivers license
  • Flexibility, attention to detail, strong work ethic, and ability to handle uncertainty
  • A strong commitment to safety and environmental excellence.
