What Youll Do
As the EHS Manager, youll be part of the site leadership team and take ownership of all things safety and environmental:
Environmental Compliance
Manage compliance with EPA, RCRA, SPCC, SWPPP, and air permitting
Oversee hazardous and non-hazardous waste programs
Ensure compliance with industrial wastewater treatment standards
Health & Safety Leadership
Lead life-critical safety programs (LOTO, confined space, hot work)
Facilitate Safety Committee meetings and site safety initiatives
Conduct site audits, investigations, and corrective action planning
Deliver training (including new hire onboarding and LMS coordination)
Process Safety Management
Administer and audit the PSM program
Lead risk assessments, JHAs, and incident response efforts
Drive a culture of accountability and proactive safety practices
What Were Looking For
Must-Have Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Engineering, or related fieldor equivalent hands-on EHS experience
5+ years in an EHS leadership role in chemical or high-risk manufacturing
Strong working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, NFPA, DOT, and PSM
Experience responding to hazardous material incidents and environmental spills
Preferred Certifications
CSP, CHMM, OSHA 30
Critical Skills
Strong field presence and relationship-building
Excellent verbal and written communication
Training delivery and mentoring
Calm under pressure and adaptable
Competency in Microsoft Office, SAP, and LMS systems
