The Director of Sales Engineering will sell  products offered by the company to current and new clientele. Communicates key customer information to VP Marketing for processing and developing into material. Drives product development and design by attending and participating in applicable meetings for new products and technologies. From information obtained on assigned accounts, guide the overall company forecast, revenue and earnings. As a result, make appropriate decisions on selection of opportunities and customers.

Essential Functions/Duties/Responsibilities

Lead and support the Global Sales Team (GST) and Sales Engineers, setting clear goals and managing performance.

Oversee sales team hiring, training, and administration to align with business growth.

Develop accurate sales forecasts and budgets, maintain pipeline visibility, and identify opportunities aligned with Triads strategic plan.

Manage the full customer lifecycle from initial contact and technical support to proposals and post-delivery follow-up.

Build long-term relationships with key and dormant accounts while prioritizing high-value engagements.

Supervise inside sales, pricing strategies and proposal development.

Ensure timely execution of NDAs, other agreements, and customer communications related to product releases and/or updates.

Act as the voice of the customer in product development discussions and align offerings with market needs.

Work with Marketing to plan and represent Triad RF at industry events to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.

Maintain our Salesforce opportunity tracking system and focus efforts on high-return sales opportunities.

Required Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

Proven track record of placing RF PA, BDA, or Integrated Microwave Assembly (IMA) products into customer end-use applications such as RF data & video links, MIMO MANET systems, EW /jamming / CUAS systems, or related applications or industries.

Proven track record of initial customer capture activity, from initial customer prospecting and assessment of their systems needs, to placement of the best choice of COTS product in the product line.

Proven track record in managing sales teams, and ownership of their work product and KPIs in terms of Opportunities, Quotes, and Sales Orders.

Ability to learn and understand the performance limits of the Triad COTS product line, to enable proper routing of new opportunities to the COTS team or the BD team.

Ability to guide and train sales staff that are new to PA / BDA products in KYC, lead assessment, new and existing customer land and expand efforts, and on solution-oriented sales when needed.

Ability to take ownership of reporting, and maintaining the quality of that reporting, on booked and potential sales to management.

Well-developed instincts and industry / application knowledge in usage of PA/BDA/IMA products, that are generally similar to Triads product line.

Proficiency and experience using CRM or other sales-enablement software products (Salesforce or similar).

Required and Preferred Education and Experience:

Bachelors degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, Business Administration, or related field.

A proven track record of amplifier sales in the Mil/Aero and SatCom spaces.

Comparable record of sales leadership experience required.

At least five years of sales experience required.

MBA preferred.
