Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who can operate independently from day one. This role requires strong hands-on, daily experience across a broad range of cloud and DevOps technologies, with the ability to immediately execute without a learning curve. The ideal candidate will take ownership of infrastructure, automation, and deployment pipelines, while working closely with development teams to optimize delivery and system reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of DevOps pipelines and cloud infrastructure from day one
• Design, implement, and manage highly available, secure, and scalable systems
• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support frequent deployments
• Manage and deploy containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
• Configure, monitor, and optimize cloud infrastructure and services
• Set up and manage monitoring and alerting using DataDog and cloud-native tools

Cloud Services:

AWS (EC2, S3, Route53, Lambda, SQS, SNS, DMS, IAM, OpenSearch, DynamoDB, RDS, DocumentDB)

CI/CD & Automation:

• Jenkins
• Bitbucket Pipelines
• AWS CodePipeline

Containerization & Orchestration:

• Docker (PHP, Nginx, Node.js)
• Kubernetes

Monitoring & Observability:

• DataDog
• Cloud-native monitoring tools

Scripting:

• Bash
• Python

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in a DevOps role with daily hands-on use of the tools listed above
• Proven ability to work independently and execute complex tasks with minimal oversight
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture and automation best practices
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and cross-team collaboration skills
