Role description:

Our client seeks a motivated developer to join an international program aiming at deploying a Policy Administration system worldwide, in all the Business Units of the Group.
Within his/her Rollout Team, the candidate will work on rolling out the platform to his designated BU(s), adjusting features, fix defects, be curious about the business needs, be autonomous in his/her work yet confident to ask for help from the team when needed.

Job Responsibilities:

• Uses Spring framework to develop microservices;
• Uses Aspose library APIs to process documents in popular file formats such as word;
  
• Uses version-control systems;
• Update data stored in the original database from the same front-end applications;
  
• Write unit tests;
• Setting up the insurance product in the application his/her team is part of by means of product parameters;
  
• Contribute, by providing analysis and recommendations not directly linked to business requirements with continuous improvement of;

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 6+ years of experience in Java / Spring;
• Professional expertise in SQL (stored procedures would be a plus);
  
• Experience in Angular would be a plus;
• Experience of Public Cloud environments, AWS would be a plus;
• Experience of CI CD pipelines in a DevOps environment;
• Permanently pursuing excellence in the quality of the code delivered;
  Team player;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
