Role description:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Business Central Developer to design, develop, and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in developing customizations, extensions, and integrations, as well as experience working with AL (Application Language) and C/AL. This role will collaborate closely with business analysts, project managers, and end users to deliver efficient and scalable ERP solutions that drive business growth.

• Design, develop, and maintain customizations and extensions for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central using AL, C/AL, and Visual Studio Code.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, ensuring the effective translation into technical solutions.
• Develop and integrate Business Central with other third-party applications, tools, and services using APIs and web services.
• Create technical documentation for all customizations, processes, and integrations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system performance, data integration, and application errors.
• Conduct testing and quality assurance to ensure system stability and data integrity.
• Provide end-user training and support to ensure smooth adoption of new features and system enhancements.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies related to Business Central development.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code and adherence to best practices.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to support ongoing system improvements and customizations

Profile:

• Proven experience as a Business Central Developer or similar role, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in development, customization, and support of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Proficiency in AL programming language and familiarity with C/AL.
• Experience with Visual Studio Code, Git, and Azure DevOps for source control and continuous integration.
• Knowledge of Business Central APIs and experience in integrating third-party applications.
• Strong SQL knowledge for database queries, views, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with extensions and upgrades for Business Central, including experience with Business Central On-Premise and SaaS versions.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve system issues.
• Excellent communication skills to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
