Role description:

We are looking for a QA Consultant to join our client's dynamic IT team. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and operational teams to deliver secure, high-performing solutions for both governmental and private lottery operators across Africa.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance & Testing

• Develop and execute test plans and procedures for both hardware and software products.

• Identify, analyze, and document software bugs, inconsistencies, and operational challenges.

• Work with the product development team to establish acceptance criteria and performance benchmarks.

• Conduct manual and automated testing of new features, games, and system updates.

• Validate test results and ensure identified defects are resolved.

• Continuously improve testing strategies, methodologies, and reporting processes.

System Implementation & Support

• Oversee the administration and implementation of a complex lottery and gaming system.

• Provide Level 2 & Level 3 technical support for company operations across multiple African countries.

• Offer support for retail and online gaming platforms, betting applications, and hardware components.

• Assist in installing, configuring, and testing new games and betting systems.

• Provide support for in-house mobile money solutions and payment platforms.

Training & Business Analysis

• Deliver direct training to business stakeholders, lottery operators, and internal teams.

• Monitor and supervise system performance to ensure operational excellence.

• Support new team members by conducting structured onboarding and training sessions.

• Collaborate with business analysts to ensure software meets client and market needs.

Profile :

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in software testing, QA, or system implementation.

• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.

• Experience in manual and automated testing of web and mobile applications.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

• Willingness to travel for on-site projects as needed.

• Fluency in English (French is a plus).
