Role description:

Plans and executes manual and automated testing across APIs, mobile apps, and web frontends for a banking platform, and reports on quality and defects.

Responsibilities

• Design, document, and execute manual and automated test cases for web, mobile, and API-based systems
• Plan test strategy, scope, and estimates for features and releases
• Test REST/SOAP APIs, microservices, and middleware integrations
• Build and maintain automated regression test suites
• Track defects through resolution and prepare test summary reports and quality metrics
• Apply risk-based testing to prioritize coverage

Required

• 5+ years of experience in manual and automation testing, including test planning, strategy, estimation, and defect management
• Experience designing and executing test cases using tools like Zephyr Scale or TestRail
• Strong API testing skills (REST/SOAP) with tools such as Postman or Bruno, including testing microservices/middleware
• Experience testing mobile apps (Android & iOS) and web frontends (Angular)
• Working knowledge of Java or JavaScript for test automation, with experience maintaining automated regression suites
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, SQL, and log/monitoring tools (Kibana/ELK)

Preferred

• Automation tooling experience with Appium and/or Selenium
• Experience with banking software or the banking domain
• Agile Scrum experience
• Good command of English
• Comfortable using AI tools for analysis, documentation, and process improvement
