Role description:

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join a project focused on managing firewall devices, including configurations and security policies. The role supports agile development teams working on modern frontend technologies and security-focused platforms. You will contribute to test automation strategy, CI/CD integration, and quality assurance across complex systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions
• Define and execute test strategies, plans, and documentation
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate closely with development and DevOps teams
• Perform backend testing, data validation, and API testing
• Identify, track, and report defects using standard tools
• Support quality improvements across releases

Profile: 

• 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance

• 3+ years of experience in test automation

• Strong experience with Cypress (preferred)

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, especially Jenkins

• Good knowledge of networking fundamentals

• Programming experience with Python or Java

• Working knowledge of JavaScript

• Experience with SQL and databases

• Familiarity with REST API testing

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

• Strong English communication skills

• AWS

• vSphere / VMware

• Linux & Bash scripting

• Debugging experience

• Experience testing distributed or security-focused systems
