About the job Senior IT Specialist
The Senior IT Specialist is responsible for the administration, maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of the organization's IT infrastructure, security posture, and end-user support services. This role serves as a senior technical resource, providing leadership in the implementation of best practices, cybersecurity initiatives, infrastructure projects, and operational support while ensuring high availability, reliability, and security of enterprise systems.
Education
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
Minimum Years of Experience
- 5 to 8 years of progressive experience in Systems Administration, Infrastructure Support, Network Administration, Cybersecurity, or related IT functions.

Key Responsibilities
- Administer, maintain, and support enterprise infrastructure environments
- Monitor systems, networks, and security platforms to ensure optimal performance and availability
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex infrastructure and cybersecurity incidents
- Implement security best practices and compliance requirements
- Coordinate server, network, and security upgrades
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and knowledge base articles
- Participate in infrastructure planning, architecture discussions, and technology recommendations
- Mentor junior IT staff and provide technical guidance when required
- Support disaster recovery, business continuity, and cybersecurity initiatives
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support when necessary
