Our current client is a global company that operates in 58 countries worldwide and is a global leader in developing individual mobility solutions. They help help people maintain or regain their freedom of movement. The company headquarter is in Duderstadt, Germany but they have both large production facilities in Bulgaria as well as a shared services center in Sofia. 

On their behalf, we are looking for a Senior Internal Auditor to join their expanding Sofia team. In this role, you will bring fresh perspectives to their business processes: you will conduct internal audits, identify areas for improvement, and develop smart solutions that make a real difference. Join their team and make an impact—with solid analyses, strategic foresight, and a genuine drive to shape change. This is a global role that offers a hybrid working model.



Main Responsibilities:

• You plan, coordinate, and conduct risk-based audits—both nationally and internationally—with a clear focus on process efficiency and compliance

• You analyze business processes, identify weaknesses, and develop practical solutions that drive improvement

• Your audit reports are concise and provide actionable recommendations

• You support the implementation of measures and ensure their long-term effectiveness

• You contribute your expertise to special audits at the executive level

• You also play an active role in further developing our audit processes and structures

Requirements:

• Completed degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, or Law;

• 5–10 years of professional experience in internal auditing or external auditing;

• Confident demeanor, strong communication skills, and very good English skills (written and spoken). German or any additional languages are a plus;

• Strong IT affinity and solid IT knowledge;

• Analytical, independent, and structured working style;

• Willingness to travel internationally, seen as a valuable and enriching part of your work routine;
