System Engineer

Location : Ara Damansara, Petaling Jaya, Selangor

Basic Salary : RM 2,800 - RM 4,000

Responsibilities:

·       Design and monitoring private, hybrid and public cloud servers.

·    Provide technical expertise to client by troubleshooting and fix technical issues via ticketing platform and telephone etc.

·    Establish networking environment by designing system configuration, directing system installation, defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards.

·       Maximize network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades, collaborating with network engineer on network optimization.

·   Secure system by establishing and enforcing policies, defining, monitoring access, server hardening. 

·   Accomplish information systems and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

·       Ability to multitask across different projects.

Requirements:

·   Have a basic understanding of operating systems, cloud computing and networking.

·       Independent and responsible.

·       Willing to take up challenges for self-improvement.

·         Good in trouble shooting and solving technical issues.

·         Willing to work on rotating shifts for day shifts and night shifts.

·     Familiarity with virtualisation software such as VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox etc is an added advantage.

·   Familiarity with public cloud such as AWS, Azure, GCP etc is an added advantage.

Qualifications:

·   Bachelor’s Degree in IT or its equivalent and or/ possesses hands-on experience.

·       Min 1-year relevant working experience. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply as training will be provided.

·       Fluent in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
