 To act as a key member of the QA team responsible for our testing and quality control. To deliver writing, testing and automation features. Bring a QA perspective to planning sessions and ensure test effort is taken into consideration.

• Define testing strategy and work with software engineering team members to implement it
• Create test cases, checklists and other types of test documentation
• Review requirements, specifications, and design documents
• Use a variety of internal and 3rd party tools to manage testing and associated reporting
• Troubleshooting and debugging to optimize application performance and UX/UI
• Preparation of integration test scenarios for unreleased features and changes
• Support - Assist with resolution and reproduction of user software problems.
• Demonstrable experience implementing automated tests
• Experience coordinating testing strategies across engineering teams
• Provide estimates of work to be complete
  

A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience

At least 2 years of experience as a QA Engineer.

Required:

• Good testing and analytical skills
• Experience writing automated tests using Cypress or similar tools.
• Experience testing APIs using Postman or similar tools.
• Passion for testing and improving product quality as well as introducing innovative testing methods
• Good understanding of various testing types, including exploratory testing, regression testing, accessibility testing, performance testing etc
• Ability to work independently and complete task on time
• Experience in investigating and analyzing logs, debugging software issues, finding root causes, and recommending mitigation plans.
• Experience in testing user stories / features and doing regression testing. Strong analytical skill and a problem solver
• Experience of using BDD effectively
• Familiar with GitHub, JIRA, and Slack
• Be able to speak, read, and type in English.

Desired:

• Significant experience in Selenium / WebDriver.io based browser testing in JS using Mocha or Jest Strongly organized, able to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets
• Building and maintaining CI/CD Automation process and execution Be passionate about learning new things and sharing them with teammates.
• Work in or be flexible to work in an agile and fast paced environment
