(A) Software & Tester (SQA)

Key note for this role 

The key for this post is experience in automation testing specifically in selenium and have experience in people management. (MUST BE IN PRINCIPLE) 

Responsibilities:

· Test Strategy

• Actively helps the projects and teams to develop and execute a good testing strategy

• Coach QA team to develop and execute test plans

• Active role in contributing to product competitiveness

• Active contribution to product / platform long-term quality strategy

• Teaches, drives, and inspires other QAs beyond basic testing responsibilities, especially:

• Visualizing reality, including product quality, testing effort, and residual risk

• Get important problems fixed in the product and own the work process

• Improve together with others on work practices and tooling in line with business goals

• Process/Tooling improvement

• Drive for good engineering culture (risk management, testability, usability, understanding non-functional requirements)

• Develop tools or scripts with a focus to improve process

• Assist team in selecting and assimilating new testing technologies, assessing staff skills and determining training needs

• Find solutions and initiate change proactively in the testing arena

• Interact with developers to devise automation strategies, test strategies, and test cases to automate new features and enhance existing functionality
• Quality Communication

• Help QA team to provide stakeholders quality status reports with concrete measurements of product quality and risk related to the product

• Acts as Chief Quality Engineer

• Proactively helps the projects to avoid errors which may lead to defects in the product.

• Collating and reporting test results and risks to stakeholders

• Networks with other projects and development centers to avoid errors and fix defects

• Test Execution Techniques

• Coach team on manual and automated product testing (For senior position) 

• Collaborate with product and development team in an Agile environment

• Track, monitor and prioritize QA testing of bug reports

• Investigate and analyse maintenance bug reports

• Prioritize and execute the above with the awareness of company and sales targets, return on investment and added value to the customer.
