About the job (A) Business Analyst (Business)
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Assessing, analyzing user requirements and establishing system objectives
• Designing the system functional solution and providing its delivery cost
• Prepare system documentation, e.g., business requirements, functional specification, system testing plan and User manual, etc.
• Support the communication within business parties and development team
• Work with developers to let them fully understand the requirements.
• Support SIT team to design SIT test case.
• Work with Project Manager to control and follow-up User requirement change, manage user’s expectation with proper way.
• Work with business parties and end users to confirm delivery schedule and follow up the system implementation.
• Conduct system demonstration while needed.
• Conduct User training while needed.
• Work as junior BA’s mentor.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Education & Experience
• Bachelor or Master degree in IT or Engineering related (MBA degree will be a big advantage);
• Minimum 6 years IT working experience, at least 2 years supervisory experience, Software Development experience will be a big plus
• Excellent English/Chinese orally Communication, good Bahasa is a plus
• 2+ years BA experience in Insurance IT project
Knowledge & Skill
• Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to use JIRA, Confluence to manage requirement documents and tasks during the daily work.
• Conceptual awareness on industry/ business domain, relevant IT functional products and application, etc.
• Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word etc.
• Ability to identify and define requirements via multiple scenarios to assess the real business problems, and subsequently validate with business &
end users for any update
• Able to understand, explain and effectively convey requirements and business scenarios to business, end users and technical teams
• Coaching skill will be a big advantage
• Open mind, great sense of responsibility and willing to face challenges
