(A) QA Lead

The Software QA Lead oversee quality control throughout the development of software by testing the software application and managing teams of QA members. He/she work closely with other team members to ensure the software quality. The incumbent focuses on improving software development process and preventing defects in production.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Provide leadership and leading QA members to ensure the software quality
2. Analysing user stories and requirements for validity and feasibility.
3. To develop, review and execute detailed, well-structured test plans and test cases.
4. Collaborate closely with other team members and departments.
5. Mentor and train QA team members to achieve the daily jobs.
6. Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression) when needed.
7. Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies.
8. Provide timely solutions and reporting.
9. Provide support and documentation.

Qualifications

1. Masters Degree or bachelors degree or Diploma in computer science/information technology, computer engineering or equivalent
2. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written in English

Special Requirements (if any)

1. Minimum 10 years of working experience as a Software Tester with team leading experience.
2. Preferrable from FSI/Stock Broking industry.
3. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
5. Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the companys success.
6. Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
7. Good time-management skills
8. Experience in develop and implement automation frameworks and executing automated tests is a plus.
