Junior Legal Consultant

Job Scope:

• Legal advisory work.
• Drafting and reviewing of agreements.
• Handling intellectual property matters.
• Compliance with Companies Act 2016 and related rules and regulations.
• To engage well with other stakeholders to drive statutory compliance.
• The job function listed is not exhaustive and shall also include any responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor from time to time.

Requirements:

• Open to junior candidates, but prior experience in a law firm is required.
• Candidates should be from Penang or Northern region (e.g., Kedah, Sungai Petani). Candidates from KL or far areas are not preferred.
• LLB Degree holder with 3-5 years of relevant working experiences is preferred.
• Analytical and meticulous with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced working environment.
• Good drafting skill.
• Reliable and responsible.
• Ability to work independently and handle challenges.
• A team player.
• Good command of both written and spoken English.
