(B) Finance Manager

Job Description:

• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports to CFO, company management and board of directors.

• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of bi-monthly sales and service tax report and annual corporate tax submission

• Ensure compliance of all legal requirement such as general accounting principles/standards, Income Tax Act, etc.

• Prepare company's annual budget and oversee approved budget implementation

• Prepare, review and improve financial work policies, processes and procedures as and when required to comply with the Companys objectives.

• Ensure all accounting procedures and reporting systems are implemented, controlled and monitored.

• Liaise with auditors, tax agents and other relevant external business partners and ensure tax computations of the Company.

• Assist in the preparation of financial-related announcements, circulars, board papers etc.

• Assist Management in corporate exercises or any other assignments.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelors Degree in Accounting recognized by Malaysian Institute of Accountant (MIA) or professional qualification in ACCA or equivalent

• Minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience in Finance field. Candidates less that (15) years of experience but with good or relevant experience will be considered.

• Have experience in working with power utilities industry is an advantage.

• Familiar with sukuk financing or non-recourse financing or Project Infrastructure is a must

• Good leadership, problem solving, interpersonal and presentation skills.
