Key Account Manager Health & Beauty

Business Unit: South East Asia Commercial Group
Reporting to : GM 

Preference to be candidate that has relevant experience with their main channel such as  Guardian, Watsons, Sasa, Cold Storage, 7-11, and All other IDP Big Pharmacy, Healthlane etc. and  Familiar with the Sales and PNL management of their own account.

Position Summary

If you are a passionate and proactive sales person with an experience in trade marketing, we want to talk to you. We are looking for a Key Account Manager who is responsible to develop existing and new business, drive sales growth and market share for the brands in Malaysia.


Key Responsibility Areas

  • Accountable to grow H&B distribution network and sales to achieve targets.
  • Accountable to provide sales management support and develop related trade/marketing strategies to customers .
  • Strong in managing/planning/executing trade marketing activities related to brick&mortar and ecommerce aspect
  • Manage a team of merchandizer in routing stock check, including routes, customer visits, stock health and stocks gaps
  • Good in negotiation and maintaining effective long term trading relationship with customers.
  • Result Oriented with strong analytical skills and detailed in number figures , ability to analyse performance data
  • Setting, monitoring and controlling revenue and trade spend to meet monthly/annual budget, P&L, business KPIs
  • Have sense of trade & marketing in supporting on 360 business development of brand plans and strategy
  • Strong in capturing market potential and customers requirements; accordingly, tailor the product mix offering to the channel
  • Work closely with KAM & internal teams in relation to managing related other functions which helps efficiently run the business
  • Ensuring the orders are secured and delivered on time and work with cross functional teams to meet customer and business requirements
  • Managing day to day business planning and relationships, new business development

Previous Experience, Qualifications and Technical Skills 

  • Minimum 3-5 years Sales experience in FMCG, experience in Health & Beauty category would be advantageous
  • Strong understanding of H&B channel
  • Proven ability to range new products in retail chain, trade marketing activities and retailer relationship.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Bachelor of Commerce/Marketing or other relevant tertiary qualifications would be advantageous

1) Basic Salary: Up to RM6k per month

2) Transport Allowance: MYR600 per month

3) Phone Allowance: MYR100 per month

4) Annual Special Incentive Scheme (on sales and profit achievement):

- Base tier: 90% of target: 0.5-month salary

- Tier 1: 100% above target: 1 month salary

- Tier 2: 115% above target: 1.5 months salary
