Duties and Responsibilitie

·  Assists Head of Department (HOD) in managing the  workload, working hand in hand on possible investment        or divestment, and represent HOD in the event HOD is         not around.

  • Engages in regular research and reading to stay appraised about the state of Malaysia property market, economy, financial markets, and general current events.
  • Presents investment opportunities and related analysis while pitching proposed course of action.
  • Uses complex financial models to project future earning and profit potential and uses this data to inform decisions and proposals.
  • Application of predictive methods and statistical methodology in deriving the scenario future outcomes.
  • Develops relationships with clients and expands network in professional and social settings.
  • Specialises in a particular field or industry to aspire to achieve expert level knowledge
  • Test and measure the existing business model in order to understand its capabilities and highlight for possible shortcomings.
  • Interpreting and analyzing data using a variety of numerical and IT tools.
  • Leading the acquisition or divestment of the assets, comprises of other relevant departments such as legal, property management, finance, land etc. 
  • Prepare Investment paper, present to Investment Working Committee (IWC), slide presentation for Investment Committee and Board meeting. 
  • Incorporated the risk management elements into the recommendations in order to provide holistic analysis and solutions.
  • Follow through with the agreement, execution, payment and hand over to the respective departments.

 Requirement:

          • Undergraduate degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Geography, Marketing, Urban Planning or related field. Master's degree preferred.
          • A team player with strong interpersonal skill.
          • Good communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
          • Dedicated, innovative, resourceful, analytical, team oriented and deadline driven.
          • Excellent organizational, planning, problem solving, quantitative, and project management skills.
          • At least 7 years of relevant work experience required.
          • Prior experience on economic impact analysis or investment a plus.
          • Experience in property industries will be an added advantage.
