General Description:
The Digital Marketing Officer: is assigned to help plan and implement the company's marketing and advertising activities in digital platforms. He/ She is tasked to work on improving corporate brand awareness, promotion of company products and services, and increasing client engagement through innovative methods using the online channels.
Being directly under the regional digital marketing lead, he/she will be exposed and is expected to understand the brands solutions and the marketing strategy to help in its implementation. He/ she should be capable of understanding relevant data in order to pivot accordingly and maintain good results for campaigns that are being activated.
He/she should be able to support the companys marketing, advertising and promotional activities. - from website management, to video creation, webinar management, social media management, CRM marketing activities, operational activities and others when need arises. He/she assists other marketing staff in their activities when needed.
He/she should have a basic understanding of digital design to be able to communicate and collaborate with the UI/UX Staff. He/she must also have a solid background with digital ads, website management, and/or social media management.
He/she will also be exposed in content activities, from copywriting and summarizing content from trade and channel counterparts, to writing and creating original content for the company. He will be directly supervised by the CMO. His/her role will mainly be focused on the specific territory that he/she will be assigned to, but can offer minor assistance across the whole region with the guidance of Regional Digital Marketing Lead.
Digital Responsibilities:
- Support Marketing Initiatives in Digital Platforms by providing different tools and platforms and assisting on actual usage
- Assists the Regional Digital Marketing Lead in maintaining and regularly updating online platforms to promote corporate brand and product awareness digitally- specific to the territory assigned
- Manages Digital Engagements and Communication with Customers via Digital Platforms- specific to the territory assigned
- Develop, Implement, and monitor campaign budgets with Regional Digital Marketing Lead -SEM, Boosting Efforts - specific to the territory assigned
- Engages with different suppliers to improve our digital presence with tools and additional services - specific to the territory assigned
- Create reports on marketing metrics, like engagement rates - specific to the territory assigned
- Keep organized records of marketing metrics and results of past campaigns
- Assist in cross department initiatives involving digital tools and platforms
- Work with the team to brainstorm new and innovative growth strategies.
Admin Responsibilities:
- Assist in ideation and actual implementation of events
- Assist other marketing staff for their initiatives and or events upon request
- Assist in handling CRM activities- mainly leads upload and campaign creation
Content Responsibilities:
- Assists in copywriting and proofreading content from Trade & Channel Counterparts
- Identifies key topics and creates original content with guidance from CMO for the company in relation to the needs of the planned campaign/ target market
- Assists in creation of assets with the entire digital team, with focus on territory assigned
Other Responsibilities:
- Participate and/or assist in company functions and programs.
- Respects and ensures all assets of the company are in good working condition
- Maintains cleanliness, orderliness and safety within the working environment
- BS degree in Marketing, Digital media or relevant field
- Proven work experience as a Marketing Associate, Marketing Assistant or similar role in Digital Marketing Media Specialist
- Knowledge of CRM tools and other productivity tools
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven work experience as a Marketing Associate, Marketing Assistant
- Team player, can handle multiple deadlines and tasks, can perform under tight deadlines
- Knowledge of marketing digital tools and techniques
- Has experience with SEO/SEM campaigns
- Solid computer skills, including MS Excel, Google Analytics and Google Adwords
- Strong analytical skills with a goal-oriented attitude
- An ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines
- Has basic copywriting skills
- Has basic knowledge and experience of Photoshop or other media editing software
- Familiarity with web design (HTML, CSS) and content management systems (Wordpress/ Joomla)
