About the job Creative Strategist Lead
OBJECTIVES
UPLIVE is a high-growth global publisher seeking a Creative Strategist Lead to oversee creative strategy: project management, research, and driving creative testing plan for our Games & Apps portfolio. You’ll turn insights, market data, and trends into winning creative plans and production-ready concepts for the Creative Production team.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Strategic Ownership
- Own the full creative strategy for assigned Games/Apps, defining the creative vision, north star, and long-term direction.
- Align UA, Product, and Creative teams around shared performance goals.
Playtest, Research & Strategic Planning
- Lead structured playtests to define USP, audience psychology, and creative opportunities.
- Build a continuous trend-scanning and competitive research system across GEOs.
- Turn insights into strategic bets and create frameworks (angle maps, messaging pillars, component systems) that guide production.
AI, Tools & Knowledge Systems
- Evaluate and adopt AI tools that improve research, insight generation, and creative exploration.
Design AI-assisted workflows to accelerate strategy and production.
Build and maintain creative knowledge systems (angle libraries, trend hubs, best practices).
Planning, Prioritization & Creative Ops
Lead quarterly/monthly/weekly planning and set strategic priorities.
Balance rapid performance needs with long-term creative direction.
Maintain clear roadmaps, decision logs, and strategic documentation.
Performance Intelligence
- Analyze creative performance (CTR, CVR, IPM, CPI, ROAS) to identify root causes and patterns.
- Drive data-backed decisions and establish weekly learning/testing cadences.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Act as the strategic bridge across UA, Creative Production, Product, and key stakeholders.
- Lead alignment meetings and ensure fast, clear cross-team coordination.
QUALIFICATIONS
Technical skills requirements:
- 4+ years in Creative Strategy, UA Creative, Product Marketing, or similar creative strategist roles.
- Strong ability to turn product, data, and market insights into clear creative direction.
- Excellent at creative project management ability, able to plan timelines, align resources, and guide multi-format creative initiatives from concept execution learning.
- Strong understanding of performance marketing metrics (CTR, CVR, IPM, CPI, ROAS signals) and how they influence creative decisions.
- Highly skilled with creative research & analytics tools, ad libraries, market research platforms, and modern AI workflows.
- Strong experience coordinating with Designers, Motion Artists, and Playable Devs, ensuring strategic clarity and execution quality.
- Ability to manage multiple creative projects in parallel while maintaining high standards of strategy and communication.
- Deep understanding of creative trends, audience behavior, and mobile gaming/app market benchmarks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to align stakeholders and influence decisions.
