Position Overview

Our client is a globally active digital and technology-led organization working closely with major online platforms to support advertisers and agencies across diverse markets. With a strong footprint in the Asia-Pacific region, the company is entering a new phase of growth and is looking to appoint a Regional Managing Director APAC to take full ownership of regional performance and expansion.

This role requires a senior leader who can balance strategic vision with hands-on execution, lead complex multi-country operations, and act as a trusted partner to global stakeholders.

What You Will Be Responsible For

  • Regional Strategy & Execution: Set the overall direction for the APAC region and translate strategy into measurable commercial and operational outcomes.

  • Commercial Leadership: Drive regional revenue growth by overseeing sales performance, go-to-market approaches, and commercial effectiveness across countries.

  • Strategic Partnerships: Manage senior-level relationships with key global and regional partners, ensuring alignment, value creation, and long-term collaboration.

  • Financial Accountability: Hold full responsibility for regional financial performance, including budget planning, forecasting, and profitability.

  • Leadership & Talent Development: Lead and empower country leaders and their teams, building a strong leadership bench and a results-driven culture across a large regional workforce.

  • Growth & Market Development: Identify expansion opportunities within existing and new APAC markets, adapting strategies to different regulatory and cultural contexts.

  • Senior Representation: Act as the regional ambassador of the business, engaging credibly with partners, clients, and industry leaders.

  • Operational Consistency: Establish robust operating models, governance, and reporting structures while allowing for local market flexibility.

What We Are Looking For

  • Extensive experience in a senior executive role such as Regional Managing Director, Managing Director, General Manager, or equivalent, with responsibility for multiple countries.

  • Strong commercial background within digital platforms, media, advertising, or technology-driven businesses.

  • Demonstrated ability to scale regional operations and deliver sustained revenue growth.

  • Deep familiarity with the APAC region, ideally gained through direct leadership experience in multiple markets.

  • Solid financial and operational expertise, including ownership of complex P&L structures.

  • Proven people leader with experience managing large, geographically distributed teams.

  • Confident executive presence, comfortable operating at C-level with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Fluent English is essential; additional regional languages are an advantage.
