About Our Client
We are working with a growing renewable energy platform entering the European market, building a fully integrated model across development, EPC, and manufacturing.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role focused on creating and advancing solar projects from the ground up.
The Role
You will be responsible for originating and driving solar projects from early-stage identification through to Ready-to-Build (RTB).
This is not a coordination role — it is about owning pipeline creation and pushing projects forward in real market conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and originate solar opportunities, including greenfield land acquisition and co-development partnerships
- Build and manage relationships with landowners, municipalities, grid operators, and local stakeholders
- Lead the permitting process and spatial planning activities in the Netherlands and selected EU markets
- Support grid connection strategy and feasibility assessments, including navigating grid constraints
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders (technical, legal, financial) to ensure project progression
- Drive projects through all development milestones toward Ready-to-Build (RTB) status
- Support financial structuring and investment case preparation, ensuring projects meet bankability criteria
- Contribute to market entry strategy and pipeline prioritization
Candidate Profile
- Experience in renewable energy project development (preferably solar PV)
- Hands-on exposure to permitting, land acquisition, and stakeholder management
- Understanding of project feasibility and basic financial modeling
- Ability to operate in a less structured, fast-moving environment
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Fluent in English (Dutch or another European language is a plus)
