Requirements: 

• RN license in the state of Iowa, (or compact state license) 
• 3-5 years of related clinical practice and 1-2 years in a clinical leadership role.
• Baccalaureate degree in nursing or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS (within 6 months of hire), and TNCC (within one year of hire).

About the Role: 

As the Director of Emergency, you'll be the guiding force in providing top-notch clinical and administrative leadership in the field of emergency medicine. Your role involves implementing our organizational vision, mission, and standards while overseeing the Emergency Department and Mobile Intensive Care Services (ORMICS) staff.

Key Responsibilities: 

Your dynamic role encompasses a wide array of responsibilities, from policy formulation and decision-making to ensuring the quality and appropriateness of care. You'll be instrumental in recruiting, retaining, and nurturing talent, while ensuring compliance with state regulations and professional standards. Managing budgets, fostering educational experiences, and spearheading evaluative research activities are all part of this diverse and impactful role.
