Position Overview: As the Director of Surgical Services, you'll be at the helm, spearheading the organization, direction, and supervision of our Surgical unit. Your responsibilities will encompass ensuring adherence to policies and procedures, maintaining optimal staffing levels, overseeing inventory and equipment, and orchestrating streamlined patient flow. Your expertise will drive the development, implementation, and management of departmental budgets while championing continuous quality improvement initiatives. Additionally, investing in the lifelong learning and professional growth of our staff will be a cornerstone of your role.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse in North Carolina or Compact state
- Minimum of 2 years as a charge nurse or supervisor in the OR
- Prior experience in an acute care setting
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (Master's degree preferred)
- Experience in a small community hospital
