Software Developer (Java and Ruby)

Role: Software Developer
Salary: 25K PLN Monthly Gross
Location: 100% Remote

We are currently looking for Software Developers for the BigFix Inventory product team in Krakow. We are looking for talented, self-motivated and curious people with good programming skills that feel great in an unconventional environment, and people who like to get thoroughly involved in inclusive and open-minded teamwork in a dynamic, multicultural organization with advanced processes.

Responsibilities:

• Be a part of agile team working on innovative project
• Work on new product features and enhancements development
• Contributing to process improvement and software life-cycle optimization
• Product support
• Performing test automation.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Requirements

• At least 5-year demonstrated experience as Software Developer
• Java knowledge
• Good Ruby or ReactJS knowledge
• Experience in relational databases
• Experience with the ecosystem of development tools including automated build and continuous integration (Jenkins, RSpec, Cucumber, JUnit, Selenium or others)
• Working comfortably with distributed version control systems and project management tools (GIT, or similar)
• Good knowledge of Agile development methodologies

Nice to have:

• Experience in QA-related tasks
• Knowledge of application security aspects
• Web frontend technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React
• Experience in Docker / Kubernetes
• Virtualization knowledge: APIs and use in software development
