Position Overview: As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing best practices for monitoring and observability, consulting on complex challenges, and leading a team to execute solutions. Your role is pivotal in understanding the organizational landscape and embedding efficient processes and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Consult and identify challenges within the cloud infrastructure, and strategize to navigate and resolve these challenges effectively.
• Lead a team of engineers, defining the steps required to address challenges and implementing solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the organizational landscape and recommend the best practices for cloud platform engineering.
• Implement and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Utilize your expertise in Kubernetes for container orchestration and scaling.
• Implement and manage operational monitoring and observability practices for cloud systems.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, sharing insights and updates on cloud platform engineering.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in consulting and problem-solving, with a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure challenges.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, with AWS preferred.
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline design and implementation.
• Expertise in Kubernetes for container orchestration and scaling.
• Experience with operational monitoring and observability tools and practices.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with the team and present findings and solutions.
