The Role
As the Sales Director at UO Solutions, you bring a wealth of experience and a proven track record in spearheading business expansion efforts in the digital realm. Your expertise in nurturing relationships, leading cross-functional teams, and generating leads through different phases of the sales cycle has been a cornerstone of your success. Leveraging this knowledge, you will drive business growth at UO Solutions with a focus on both direct sales and agency partnerships. Exhibiting strong business acumen and an entrepreneurial spirit, you will seize opportunities to grow our footprint in the market, focusing on customer acquisition and retention, and maximizing conversion rates.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic leader, developing and implementing a multi-channel growth strategy to achieve our ambitious targets, utilizing innovative problem-solving skills to overcome challenges.
- Spearhead and execute lead generation campaigns adept at targeting and capturing the interest of potential clients, thereby driving business growth.
- Foster and maintain mid-market agency and direct client relationships, demonstrating exceptional skills in relationship building and networking.
- Cultivate a collaborative and innovative team environment, encouraging knowledge sharing and skill development, whilst focusing on key stakeholder engagement.
- Lead negotiations and contract discussions to secure mutually beneficial agreements, leveraging your experience in contract negotiations and focusing on creating value and fostering long-term relationships.
- Take ownership of the weekly pipeline and monthly forecast, monitoring sales performance metrics to continuously refine strategies and approaches, using a data-driven decision-making approach.
- Undertake travel as per role requirements, based on business needs and client requirements, to ensure effective relationship building and business development.
- Meet or exceed sales goals, demonstrating a results-oriented and goal-driven attitude.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of sales experience, specifically in selling website, application, and app development services, along with digital marketing services.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in lead generation and growth strategies, demonstrating a deep understanding of the market analysis and trend identification.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels such as Google, Facebook, and Instagram Ads, coupled with experience in SEO, PPC, and content marketing.
- Proficiency in marketing analytics, with a knack for influencing positive business outcomes through analytical and data-driven strategies.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a propensity for innovative thinking and a strong background in digital transformation.
- Ability to work independently and synergize with a multicultural, global team, thriving in a fast-paced environment with excellent communication skills.
- Strong presentation skills able to articulate strategies and insights effectively, with or without a deck.
- Experience in startup environments and a background in e-commerce strategies will be an added advantage.
