Purpose of the Role

The principal responsibility of the IT Quality Assurance Associate is to provide efficient and appropriate solutions for the department and customers. This role requires extensive familiarity with IT processes and procedures, effective communication, and balanced enterprise-wide applications and support systems. Maintains data accuracy by performing regular IT assets proactive maintenance audits.

What You'll Be Doing

  1. Involvement in the design and development of ongoing enhancements to the application suite.
  2. Day-to-day application support and application monitoring.
  3. Ensure accurate and timely incident and problem logging.
  4. Proactively communicate and collaborate with internal customers to analyze and document requirements and solutions as necessary.
  5. Serve as the conduit between the customer community and the software development team.
  6. Escalates own and drives the resolution of issues through the appropriate channels and team members utilizing professional communication skills.
  7. Drafts and updates technical documentation, reference material, and service manuals for use by internal staff and external customers.
  8. Ability to communicate and present complex topics in an easy-to-understand format.
  9. Will be responsible for portions of the IT Asset Management Audit.
  10. Examining records, reports, receipts, or other documents and comparing them to company assets and liabilities.
  11. Ensure compliance with all applicable plans, policies, and standards.
  12. Ensure scheduled audits have been met and carried out (both internal and external).
  13. Provide reports to the IT Quality Assurance Manager on Asset Management and Auditing.
  14. Ensure that the project schedule is adhered to, and the work is completed according to the schedule.
  15. Provides feedback to the development team about performance considerations/usability issues concerning software specifications and implementation.

  5. Proficient in computer program design, hardware/software, SQL, and MS Office
  6. Knowledgeable in math, statistics, and IT audit methodologies.
  7. Able to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and stay within budget.
  8. Skilled in understanding client needs and business priorities.
  9. Experienced in using standard computing tools and financial software.
  10. Strong interpersonal skills across all business levels.
