The Company

A prominent global financial institution with a strong focus on capital markets technology is expanding its Asia IT team. The organization is committed to innovation and digital transformation, operating across multiple financial hubs to deliver cutting-edge solutions.

The Team

You will join an agile and collaborative technology team based in Hong Kong within the Capital Market IT division. The team works closely with global peers across Europe, the US, and Asia, focusing on delivering and supporting equity business applications.

The Role

We are looking for a motivated Junior C#/C++ Developer to support and contribute to the delivery of equity market solutions. You will be involved in developing, maintaining, and adapting global technology platforms to meet the specific needs of the APAC region while participating in the ongoing digital transformation initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 1 to 5 years of experience in software development, preferably in C#/C++ or Java
  • Experience or interest in capital markets or similarly demanding environments
  • Proficiency in C#/C++ and/or Java for web services and general software development
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and alerting tools
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt, motivated by challenges
  • Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of Cantonese, Mandarin, or French is a plus but not mandatory
  • Experience or interest in agile methodologies and project management
  • Demonstrated innovation mindset, including familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts
  • Autonomy, accountability, and the ability to work under pressure while focusing on priorities
  • Familiarity with IT tools like .Net, ELK stack, GitLab, JIRA, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes is advantageous
