Team Overview
We are seeking a Logistics Assistant Manager / Manager to join our Logistics team, which plays a crucial role in our operations. This team is characterized by a positive outlook, curiosity, and a collaborative spirit, working with prestigious airlines and luxury brands.
Role Overview
The Logistics Assistant Manager / Manager will be responsible for managing logistics workflows, including shipment planning and execution, import/export procedures, and inventory control. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, you will ensure effective coordination of daily operations and support the team in achieving key business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Manage logistics workflows, including shipment planning, import/export documentation, and inventory control.
- Liaise with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and internal departments to ensure seamless logistics and shipment operations.
- Coordinate daily activities to fulfill orders through effective production and logistics planning.
- Oversee the creation of sales and purchase orders, invoicing, customs clearance, and after-sales activities.
- Support team flexibility to ensure efficient delivery of key projects and orders across regions.
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Merchandising, or related fields.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in the logistics sector, with a focus on shipment planning and 3PL management.
- Supervisory experience with a small team.
- Familiarity with various Incoterms, sea, truck, and air shipments, and import/export handling.
- Strong sense of responsibility and ownership, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- A proactive team player with a mature mindset, confident and able to think critically.
- Candidates with more leadership experience may be considered for a Manager position.
- Immediate availability is preferred.
