We are looking for an Academic Advisor (Education Sales Consultant) to join our mission-driven team. This role is essential in connecting families with the educational resources they need to succeed. The position is based in Hong Kong and offers a hybrid working model.
Role Overview
As an Academic Advisor, you will conduct consultations and academic assessments, present our educational products, and develop strong relationships with families. Your role will involve continuous improvement of sales techniques and collaboration with marketing teams to enhance lead generation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct consultations and academic assessments to understand family needs.
- Present and promote our educational products effectively.
- Establish and maintain positive business relationships with customers.
- Continuously improve sales techniques and industry knowledge.
- Pitch innovative ideas to connect with families.
- Forge partnerships with associated businesses and organizations.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to enhance lead generation methods.
- Engage in outreach activities, including school talks and seminars.
- Research potential organizations for partnerships and lead generation.
- Attend industry events and provide insights on market trends.
Requirements
- Graduate from a reputable US or UK college.
- Proven sales track record with strong storytelling and public speaking skills.
- Experience with higher education or a deep understanding of the college application process.
- Passion for working with families and students to connect them with the best programs.
- Comfort with video communication and phone interactions.
- Fluency in Cantonese and English; Mandarin is a plus.
Useful Experience
- Familiarity with Salesforce.
- Understanding of the US/UK undergraduate application process.
