The Role

The Product Owner Regulatory Reporting Automation will work within the Private Wealth Management Asia, Project Management Team, driving automation solutions for regulatory reporting processes. This critical role involves managing the end-to-end development and implementation of regulatory reporting tools while working closely with stakeholders across compliance, finance, and technology functions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Understanding Hong Kong and Singapore regulatory requirements and reporting regimes.
• Partnering with business units to define regulatory reporting requirements.
• Preparing reports in regulator-defined templates and ensuring compliance.
• Leading project governance and defining automation requirements for reporting processes.
• Managing end-to-end project tasks, including UAT management, performance evaluation, and production issue resolution.
• Communicating progress, leading working groups, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

The Requirements

• A university degree in business, finance, IT, or related disciplines.
• At least 8 years of experience in project management and regulatory reporting.
• Strong knowledge of private/retail banking operations and trading support.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, design-thinking, and user-centered design.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• A solution-focused mindset with exceptional organizational skills.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Chinese (including Putonghua) is an advantage.
