Senior C#/C++ Developer Lead

The Company

A leading global financial institution with a strong presence in the capital markets technology space is seeking to expand its Asia IT team. The company operates across multiple international financial hubs and is committed to innovation and digital transformation in equity finance and trading technology.

The Team

You will join a dynamic and agile delivery team within the technology division, focused on equity business solutions. The team is multi-regional with close collaboration across Europe, the US, and Asia, driving technical excellence and global platform evolution.

The Role

This is a hands-on leadership position for an experienced Senior C#/C++ Developer to lead the Asia Equity delivery team. You will manage and grow a team of developers, deliver high-impact projects, and drive adoption of cutting-edge technologies like cloud, machine learning, and DevOps practices. Your leadership will be key in supporting both ongoing production environments and innovative digital transformation initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum 15 years of professional experience in software development
• Proven experience as a technical lead or similar role in capital markets, with strong understanding of equity products
• Advanced proficiency in C# and C++ (Java experience is a plus) for API and software development
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Skilled in CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and DevOps infrastructure
• Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate and manage distributed teams
• Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Cantonese, Mandarin, or French is a plus but not mandatory)
• Experience with agile methodologies and project management
• Track record of innovation, including adoption of AI and machine learning in development processes
• Comfortable working autonomously and managing priorities under pressure
• Familiarity with tools such as GitLab, JIRA, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, ELK stack
