The Team

You will be part of the Global Information Technology department, specifically within the FX IT Support team. This team is crucial in supporting the trading systems and ensuring seamless operations across various regions, including Asia, Europe, and the Americas. The team collaborates closely with other IT support teams and the front office to maintain high service standards.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced FX IT Support Lead to join our client's team in Hong Kong. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Leading the frontline support for FX IT trade booking, order booking, and risk systems in Asia.
• Managing and assisting team members to provide high-quality support coverage and prompt issue resolution.
• Coordinating with global support teams to ensure seamless production support and incident management.
• Providing business analysis and project delivery management for regional projects.
• Ensuring proactive system monitoring and adherence to change management procedures.
• Participating in DRP/BCP exercises and regulatory/compliance tasks.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in support or projects on trading applications.
• Ability to handle multiple requests simultaneously from demanding users.
• Proficiency in FX products (Spot, Forwards, Swaps, NDFs, vanilla, and exotic FX options).
• Strong understanding of PnL and Risk Management concepts, including VaR and sensitivities.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
• Development experience in C# and/or Java is desirable but not a must.
• Experience supporting systems running on Windows Server and UNIX environments.
• Good SQL query skills and understanding of basic Query Optimization.
• Proficiency in English is required.
