Job Description:
Responsible for checking the measurement, re-measurement on quantities of the
Work in line with the Contract Qualifications (preambles) through the
Construction stages. Monitoring and including the milestone payments,.
Good experience in Quantity surveying and billing (invoicing) related to Piping
fabrication & Erection, Steel Structure erection, Pipeline works, Equipment
erection etc., work experience with piping fabrication and erection software like Amogh or equivalent...
Responsible for monitoring the performance of awarded subcontracts, service
contracts checking and agreeing the accuracy of monthly payment applications during the life of the subcontract and at completion of the work.
Should have knowledge in the work sequences and site activities in Piping
fabrication & Erection, Steel Structure erection, Pipeline works, Equipment
erection etc. and relevant testing and NDT activities
Prepares Bill of Quantities from Isometric drawings, plot plan, Layouts and
specifications during construction stage.
To formulate change orders to existing subcontracts for change in scope and / or pricing.
Assistance in the preparation of change orders to main contract and subcontract between company, main Contractor, subcontracts
Will be responsible for timely preparation, submission and getting approval on
monthly progress quantities and submit the monthly progress invoices to client.
Maintains records and tracks Bill of Quantities and other measurements
according to the approved technical drawings.
Calculate the Final Contract Value based on drawings, documents and Final Bill of Quantities and Contract value adjustment formulae.
Variation order management and maintain the Variation order log
Attend meetings at site and negotiate the rates with main client.
New Unit rates submission of missing unit rate items in BOQ.
Estimation of additional work items based on site instruction and submission
Checks, verifies and maintains records of built/ site measurements and
quantifications for further approval from client.
Identifies and analyses the commercial risk of a project and inform the Site
Manager.
Assist Certification of Subcontractors or suppliers invoices
Calculation of Cost for Balance work completion.
Documenting and reviewing contract terms and conditions
Support negotiations of claims, manage contractual changes and resolve
disputes or conflict resolution with Contractors
Assess and prepare claims from suppliers and prepare counter claims and
defense.
Preparing financial statements on Actual cost and balance cost for completion of project.
