Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all QA/QC activities related to welding and painting for the subsea pipeline project.
- Develop and implement quality control plans, inspection procedures, and test plans in compliance with project and industry standards (API, ASME, AWS, NACE).
- Conduct welding and painting inspections, ensuring adherence to international codes and client specifications.
- Manage NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) processes, including RT, UT, MT, and PT.
- Review and approve WPS (Welding Procedure Specifications) and PQR (Procedure Qualification Records).
- Monitor surface preparation, coating applications, and ensure compliance with anti-corrosion protection standards.
- Coordinate with project teams, third-party inspectors, and regulatory authorities to resolve quality issues.
- Maintain detailed inspection records and prepare quality reports for project stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, or Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in QA/QC roles, specifically in welding and painting for subsea pipeline or offshore projects.
- Certified Welding Inspector (AWS-CWI, CSWIP 3.1/3.2) and NACE/BGAS Painting Certification preferred.
- Familiar with international standards such as ASME, API 1104, AWS D1.1, and NACE Coating Standards.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
