Job summary:

  • Manage paperwork associated with contracts, programs and projects and responding to any concerns or queries
  • Supervise and manage work (and variations to work orders)
  • Analyse potential risks involved with specific contract terms
  • Maintain the filing of hard or soft copy contracts
  • Monitor all contract deadlines and conditions to ensure timelines are kept and all relevant payments or information have been met
  • Assist with implementation of Contract Management practices and procedures and coordinates and monitors completion of assigned tasks
  • Monitors design engineering, purchasing and construction activities.
  • Documents project measurements and key learning experiences.
  • Ensures alignment of the contractor with the Project Execution Plan.
  • Gather and compile data essential to formation and/or administration of contracts
  • Support Project financial accrual as needed
  • Prepare invoices as per the milestones specified in contract and inputs from the Projects
  • Articulating, capturing, implementing, and communicating contractual issues with client
  • Analysing risks associated with specific contract terms
  • Administering and managing financial records, invoices, credits and final accounts as per project requirement
  • Manage and prepare scope changes
  • Maintain registers of variations and claims, delays, and instructions, and use this information to build formal claims

Education:

BE Mechanical Post Graduate Qualifications in Business/Management/Oil and Gas

Experience:

  1. 8+ years related experience with good knowledge in Project management and control of major EPC Projects in Oil & Gas industry and Fabrication Shop
  2. Proven experience in managing contracts for high value construction contracts with at least Two EPC projects
  3. Proven experience in managing maintenance contracts with Oil & Gas companies
  4. Experience in managing multiple subcontractors with high value subcontracts.
  5. Knowledge of legal requirements involved with contracts
  6. Follow Management Directives as applicable.
